How Libraries are Funded

Every public library is a world of possibility. It’s where the city and county come together and become a community. It’s a place where culture, education, and exploration are cultivated. These are the life-changing impacts we support, by funding programs that foster literacy, imagination, and lifelong learning. The entire community comes together to support the library in different ways.

How the library is funded

We do all of this with the help and generosity of fellow library lovers who give to the Albuquerque Public Library Foundation and share our belief that the library can change the world, starting right here in Albuquerque and Bernalillo County. No matter the size of the donation, these donations keep the Albuquerque Public Library Foundation and the Pubic Library Albuquerque and Bernalillo County thriving.
